Draft Designated Housing Plan for Pine Cone Apartments/ Public Hearing 

The Tuscaloosa Housing Authority (THA) and its development partners are proposing to acquire Pine Cone Apartments located at 2101 44th Street East, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, 35405. In conjunction with the proposed acquisition, THA has drafted a Designated Housing Plan for submission to the United States Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). The draft Plan will request HUD authorization to designate all 48 apartments for near-elderly tenants only (ages 55 years and older). The draft plan is available for review and comment and can be accessed by CLICKING HERE. All comments must be made in writing and must be received by Chris Hall at the mailing or email address provided below before 4PM CST on Monday, April 1, 2019. A public hearing will be held at the Pine Cone Apartments offices on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at 9AM CST and 10AM CST to discuss the draft plan.
