Rosedale Phases I & II

Rosedale Court was THA’s oldest public housing neighborhood (circa 1952) prior to THA’s decision to revitalize the community.  In March of 2011, THA and Developer Partner, Doug Hollyhand Realty, Inc. submitted a tax credit application to the AHFA.  In April of 2011, an F4 tornado destroyed the development while the application was pending.  In June of 2011, the AHFA awarded an allocation of tax credits to THA and Hollyhand.

The original Rosedale included similar design flaws as McKenzie Court as the two were sister developments.  The original Rosedale included 188 units which were reduced to 174 as a result of the revitalization.  Rosedale was also completed in two separate phases with the latter phase being completed in early 2014.  Pictures of the original Rosedale development, the aftermath of the devastating storm and the revitalized community can be viewed below.
